Chanelle started her dance training at a young age and was a successful competitive dancer for 12 years. Her training culminated with a certificate from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and an Associate Membership with the BATD. Since 2010, Chanelle has brought to the dance students of Studio PAVAS 10 years of teaching experience in many styles of dance, such as; ballet, tap, jazz, acro and musical theatre. Chanelle's teaching style is calm and confident, she always has an easy smile and encouraging comments for her aspiring students.

Matthew Montgomery has been training in all areas of dance for over 20 years. He graduated Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Dance Performance. Matthew has had the privilege of working with esteemed choreographers such as D.A. Hoskins, Viki St. Denys, Kenny Pearl, Niki Wozniak, Julia Aplin, David Earle, Hari Krishnan of INdance, and Nick Tull. He has been fortunate enough to have toured throughout Canada and the United States with Being Human Dance Theatre, INdance, and Dancetheatre David Earle. He has been the head of both the contemporary and hip hop departments at Studio PAVAS since 2010, with students moving on to professional careers in dance and training programs throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe. Matthew was also very proud to be a featured dancer in the Dora Award winning opera 'Iphigenie En Tauride'. He is also a featured soloist in Delerium's 'Days Turn Into Nights' music video, as well as Serena Ryder's 'Slow' music video. In 2015, Matthew proudly took the stage at the MMVA's with recording artists Nick Jonas, and Jason Derulo.

Carina has been an award winning Studio PAVAS competitive dancer for 9 years, attending over 27 competitions. Besides training at Studio PAVAS, Carina also attended the Quinte Ballet School and is a dance graduate from Cawthra Park Secondary School. While at Studio PAVAS, she completed with honours, Advanced Tap, Jazz and Ballet exams. Carina has competed and been awarded numerous highest overall awards in Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, and Musical Theatre for her solos, duets, trios and group performances. Carina trained in New York in 2007 and has been with Studio PAVAS for over 12 years as a student and now as a teacher. Carina is a graduate of New World School of the Arts, University of Florida and will be attending the Master's degree program at London England's Contemporary Dance, University of Kent. Carina has incredible talent and work ethic.

BA HON. COM. WILFRID LAURIER UNIVERSITY

AAC1, AAC2

Kate graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University, with a BA Hon. Degree in Communication Studies. While at Laurier, she was a core, senior member of the WLU Competitive Dance Team earning the Most Valuable Dancer title in 2015. Kate has over 16 years of award-winning, competitive dance training in jazz, lyrical, contemporary and acro, and has been with Studio PAVAS since 2003. Kate has completed pre-professional certifications in ballet, jazz and acro through P.A.E.C. She is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor in both Module 1 (AAC1) and Module 2 (AAC2). Kate is thrilled to bring her advanced knowledge and training to all of the dancers at Studio PAVAS. Kate has been recognized with multiple awards for her unique, stylish choreography and costume design within Canada. Kate's passion for both acrobatics and dance find her actively attending workshops across North America to continuously grow as an artist and to bring fresh, new ideas and energy to her classroom.
